Ballston Areas Seniors Dance (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Mitlon Community Center, 310 Northline Road
The Ballston Area Seniors host monthly dances on the second Saturday evening of the month from 7-10 pm at the Milton Community Center, 310 Northline Road. Admission is $5. All dances are open to the public. Music provided by Peaceful Country Band (October 11 and December 13) and Shades of Country Band (November 8).

Calvary Capital District Church, 17 Low Street
Games, refreshments, prizes and of course candy will all be a part of the Calvary Capital District (CCD) Church annual Harvest Party! The fun begins on Friday, October 31 from 6 to 8 pm. This event has become a tradition for many families, providing a warm, safe and fun alternative to trick-or-treating. The event is FREE and open to all ages.

At this month's Ballston Spa Elks Lodge Breakfast Buffet on November 9, 8-11am, veterans and active military personnel eat for free Scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, toast, sausage, home fries, eggs and omelets to order, sausage biscuits and gravy. Ballston Area Seniors Pickin' Session (7:00 PM - 9:30 PM)

It's Pickins' Time - Get Ready for a Great Evening of Music. On Wednesday, November 12th, from 7 pm to 9:30 pm, the popular Ballston Area Seniors Pickins' Session will be held at the Milton Community Center, 310 Northline Rd., Ballston Spa. Admission is free and there is ample free parking. Please bring finger foods to share - can't have music without some munchies. We are having a fun season with extemporaneous, off-the-cuff musical jamming by local talented musicians. The sessions will continue on the second Wednesday of each month through December. Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting (6:30 PM)
Milton Avenue and WiswallPark, Front Street
The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association's annual Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting takes place December 5. Parade step off time is 6:30 pm, proceeding on Milton Avenue and ending in Wiswall Park on Front Street with Santa lighting the Christmas tree. The parade has become a hometown-style holiday tradition, with fire trucks, floats, animals, kids and Santa parading down the main street of the village. This is a true community event so parade participants are welcome! If your organization would like to march that night, please contact Ellen at the BSBPA office 885-2772 or info@ballston.org. Before and after the parade, there will be carolers and musicians on the street corners and many village shops and restaurants will be open with music, demonstrations and displays as part of First Friday, which also falls on this festive evening.
