The Ballston Area Seniors host monthly dances on the second Saturday evening of the month from 7-10 pm at the Milton Community Center, 310 Northline Road. Admission is $5. All dances are open to the public. Music provided by: The Spurs USA Band (Feb. 14, Aug. 8), Vintage Country Band (March 14, April 11, July 11, Oct. 10) and Peaceful Country Band (May 9, Sept. 12, Nov. 14, Dec. 12).

Downtown Ballston Spa
Visit the village of Ballston Spa on the First Friday of every month, from 6-9 pm and enjoy special happenings in many of our downtown shops, restaurants and galleries. Live music, art displays and demonstrations, refreshments and featured shop promotions. December's First Friday coincides with the Holiday Parade and Village Christmas Tree Lighting.
Ring in the holiday season with our traditional hometown Holiday Parade, Friday December 4, 2015. Step off is at 6:30 pm with the parade processing down Milton Avenue to Wiswall Park on Front and Low Streets. There, Santa will lead the lighting of the village Christmas tree. Prior to the parade, carolers and musicians will be performing on the streets. Shops, restaurants, museums and galleries will be open with holiday-themed happenings as part of First Friday, from 6-9 pm.

A family style Roast Beef dinner will be held at the Ballston Spa United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 5th from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. The dinner will include roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, butternut squash, rolls, pie and a beverage. Cost: $13.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 4-12, children under 4 are free. Tickets are available at the door. Take-out dinners will also be available. There will also be a bake sale of homemade goodies. Come and enjoy the food and hospitality!

The BSBPA presents the annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 5, in the gymnasium of St. Mary's School, 40 Thompson Street, Ballston Spa. The event will take place from 8 to 11 am and will include pancake breakfast, provided by the Eagle Matt Lee and Union Fire Companies, treats for children and a chance to chat with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Cost for the breakfast is $5 per person and reservations are not necessary. Family activities at the breakfast include a craft table, a reading corner with a free book for each child and face painting. McDonald's of Ballston Spa, Burlingame Orthodontics and A Bead Just So are sponsoring the event and North Country Printing is donating the festive placemats. There will be live musical performances by the Capital Region Language Center and Ballston Spa Middle School Launching Pad. Bring your cameras to capture a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus in front of our festive holiday backdrop. All proceeds will go to support community events and village beautification. A percentage of the proceeds from the breakfast will go to support the youth programs at St. Mary's Parish. Toys for Tots volunteers will also be there accepting donations, so please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to make a child's Christmas merrier.
