The Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association was established in 1983. Our mission is to make Ballston Spa a “great place to visit, do business and live.” To fulfill this we promote the Ballston Spa area, businesses and merchants; encourage business development and community pride; educate the general public on the benefits of a healthy, vibrant and vigorous business district and propel ongoing beautification and revitalization of the central commercial district and area as a whole.

There are many benefits of being a member of the BSB&PA. Members receive a monthly newsletter filled with member news and upcoming events. There are group-marketing strategies to increase the visibility of member businesses. To that end, our website uses the Internet to further promote and advertise our Association members and events. Check it often to stay up to date on what is happening around the village. Business and non-profit members will be listed in our online directory. Resident names and addresses are not listed on the website. We encourage our non-profit organizations to send us their events to be listed on our calendar of events page. Business members are also able to participate in a gift certificate program facilitated through Ballston Spa National Bank.

The Association’s fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31. Our Annual Membership Meeting is held each March. This meeting includes a summary of the past year’s accomplishments and activities as well as the election of new Board members and officers. Announcement of this meeting is sent to each member. Mixers are held throughout the year so we can get to know each other in a more relaxed atmosphere.
