The Ballston Spa Central School District is committed to meeting the educational needs of each student in becoming a responsible adult. Ballston Spa Community Band -
The Ballston Spa Community Band was created for the continuing music education of its members and audiences. Through practicing and performing, we will show that music is a life long activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Our mission is to perform a wide variety of instrumental music for the enjoyment and education of audiences throught Saratoga County, NY. The Ballston Spa Community Band will provide these concerts free of charge at locations that are accessible to the public.

A volunteer organization, supports the mission of the Ballston Spa Central School District by raising and distributing resources for educational enrichment outside the realm of the daily operational needs of the District.
Ballston Spa House and Garden Club -

The Ballston Spa House and Garden Club was founded in 1955. Jean Puckhaber was one of the founding members and remains an active member. Through the years, the Club has sponsored many projects that have helped to enhance and beautify the Village. The Club has partnered with other community organizations on projects such as: The Bicentennial Garden Party; Garden Tours; The Festival of Trees, to name a few. The Club has interesting and educational projects planned for the coming year.
The 2008-09 officers are: Mary Colby, President; Mary Phillips, Vice President; Pat Burnham, Secretary, and Jean Puckhaber, Treasurer.

Ballston Spa Public Library -

The Ballston Spa Public Library was chartered in 1893 by the State of New York, to serve the residents of the village of Ballston Spa. It existed in various locations throughout the village, until a permanent home was built for it in 1959. An addition was put on in 1971. The current building is two stories, each of which is accessible by wheel chair separately. Ballston Spa now has approximately 5000 residents, and is the county seat of Saratoga County.

The Ballston Spa Rotary was established in 1922. Rotary is a worldwide organization of over 1.2 million business and professional leaders who provide service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary addresses some of today’s critical issues such as violence, AIDS, hunger, and health care. The Ballston Spa Rotary also helps local organizations including the Ballston Area Community Center, Ballston Spa Junior Baseball, Ballston Area Recreation Commission, National Bottle Museum, and Brookside Museum. Our Mission Statement is to raise awareness of local businesses, service groups and agriculture, while promoting community spirit in the Town of Greenfield. To fulfill this goal, we will promote the Greenfield Area businesses, service groups and agriculture; promote business development and community pride; and encourage the revitalization of community spirit in our Town.
GCBA meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month at 7pm, usually at the Greenfield Community Center.

The Ballston Area Community Center -

The Ballston Area Community Center's mission is “to provide essential community services, programs, support and projects that enhance the social, emotional and physical development of youth and families of the Ballston Area.”
Founded in 1981, the Ballston Area Community Center (BACC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving youth, ages 5 to 19, and their families, who live in the Ballston Spa School District. Programs include before and after-school child care, teen programming, summer camp, basketball leagues, and community group hosting.
BACC’s before and after-school program serves approximately 133 school-age children every week. In addition, approximately 45 teenagers participate daily in a variety of structured programs as part of our teen center. The BACC facility is also used and enjoyed by a great variety of groups and organizations, including: Brownie Troops and Girl Scouts; Saratoga Bridges Day Habilitation; Capital District Youth Basketball; AAU basketball; Toddler gym drop-in; the Saratoga County Mom’s Club; and BACC is a United Way VITA Tax Site.
BACC is supported by program service fees, and with financial assistance from the Saratoga County Youth Bureau,United Way, the Village of Ballston Spa, and the Towns of Milton, Malta, and Ballston.
