2016 Holiday Weekend–Parade and Breakfast With Santa

The BSBPA’s 2016 Holiday Parade was the largest ever–with 46 floats/vehicles, 15 marching groups and 10 fire/EMS companies from all over Saratoga County–and an amazing spectator turnout!  We would once again like to thank our generous parade sponsors:  Name Bubbles LLC, Ballston Spa National Bank, Ballston Spa Veterinary Clinic, Liberty Tax Service of Ballston Spa, Saratoga Fairgrounds & Expo Center and Saratoga Bridges/Creative Endeavors. Our great appreciation also to:  Wayne McCormick and Earth Care for once again cutting down and delivering the tree this year, Jeff Gawrys and the Ballston Spa DPW for setting up the tree and all their work to get the Village ready for today and holiday season, Dave Bush and the Ballston Spa Police Dept.and Stan Delong and all the volunteer fire police for again handling traffic control and road blocks, Mayor Romano for making sure all logistics were covered and the BSBPA Parade volunteer staff—-Christine Kernochan, Donna Dardaris, Kelly Ostrander and Jim “The Man”  Whittredge.

Breakfast with Santa was full of holiday cheer and a great time for all! We had a wonderfully successful event with over 245 meals served.  We’d like to say a big Thank You to the Union and Eagle Matt Lee Fire Companies for once again preparing and providing the delicious pancake breakfast.  Thank you to our special guests, Mayor Romano and Patty Bowers.  Thank you to our sponsors: Burlingame Orthodontics, McDonald’s of Ballston Spa, and North Country Printing.  Thank you also to our volunteers: National Honor Society Students from Ballston Spa High School, St. Mary’s student volunteers, Vicki Schuette from St. Mary’s, BSBPA Board Members.  Our excellent entertainment for the morning was provided by the Ballston Spa Middle School Launching Pad cast and the Capital District Language Center.  This event would not be possible without the overwhelming support from all of our volunteers and we really appreciate you!
