April 2018 BSBPA Newsletter

April not only begins the BSBPA’s fiscal year for 2018, it also kicks off the Association’s 35th year of service!  It’s amazing to think about all the people who came before us who nurtured and grew the organization, making it into what it is today.  And through the entirety of its 35 years, the vision has always been clear–to help create and support a vital and vibrant community.  In this issue, BSBPA President Stacy Simmons reiterates that vision and encourages all of us to find ways, big and small, to engage in and support our community, our businesses and our neighbors.

Also in this issue:  A wrap up of our Annual Meeting and Community Mixer–what a fun gathering!  Sponsorship opportunities for our two popular summer events-Concerts and Movies in the Park.  A call for Farmers’ Market vendors to sign up for the 2018 market season. A reminder about the whimsical Birdhouse Community Art Project, scheduled for this month.  Plus a ribbon cutting, networking breakfast and First Friday reminders and lots of member news and April events.
