The Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association will be screening the family film “Coco” on Friday, September 7, outdoors in Wiswall Park at approximately 8 pm, as part of September’s First Friday activities. The film, originally scheduled to be shown on August 3, with a rain date of August 4, was postponed on both days, because of inclement weather.
The outdoor movie is projected onto the wall of the adjacent Front Street Deli building on Front Street in the village. All screenings are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Movie snacks will be available, courtesy of North Star Church. The movies are free to the public, thanks to generous sponsorship support from local businesses and residents.
Before the movie, families are encouraged to visit downtown shops, restaurants, museums and other locations participating in First Friday. The First Friday theme is “Chalk Walk and Sidewalk Sales”. The public is encouraged to create their own chalk art on the sidewalks (chalk provided) at participating venues. Many locations will have special sidewalk sales that day.
