June’s Networking Breakfast is Tuesday, June 4, from 7:30-8:30 am, hosted by Ribbon Cafe, 11 Prospect Street in Ballston Spa.
Ribbon Cafe was founded in 2018 in honor of Jennifer Myers who passed away from breast cancer in September 2017. At Ribbon Cafe, “Today is a gift that we will embrace and honor her memory in creating one meal at a time to satisfy your hunger!”
Opening in January of this year, Ribbon Cafe has already made it’s mark as the big winner in the 2019 Chowderfest, which took place in Saratoga Springs on February 2. The Ballston Spa eatery scored a hat trick, winning the People’s Choice Award, the Best Non-Downtown Award and the Best Newcomer Award for its Southwest Shrimp Corn Chowder topped with tequila bacon and a crab popper wonton.
The restaurant has become a fast favorite with locals for breakfast and lunch. Come meet chef/owner Kevin Myers and Christine Pyle.
Cost for the breakfast is $5 with advance reservation. Online preregistration/pre-pay is now closed. You may also RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org and pay at the door. Non-reserved walk-ins that morning are $10. Business and community members are welcome; you do not need to be a BSBPA member to attend this event. Membership information will be available.
