November’s Networking breakfast is Tuesday, November 5, 7:30-8:30 am, hosted by Nomad Coffee & Crepes, 80 Milton Avenue.
In its relatively short time on the village’s main drag of Milton Avenue, Nomad Coffee & Crepes, the fabulously vintage “pocket” café and bar has become a bit of a local legend. Started by young entrepreneur Nick Furnia when he was fresh out of high school, with the support of his family, Nomad does a brisk business in specialty coffee and crepes for the morning and afternoon crowd, while staying open late in the evening with a selection of beers, wines and mixed drinks from the bar. In addition, Nick, a trained coffee roaster, is starting a coffee roasting company, Knockabout Coffee, to produce local, clean and sustainably-roasted coffee. The venue is small and cozy, so be sure to reserve your spot soon.
Cost for the breakfast is $5 with advance reservation. Online pre-registration/pre-pay is now closed. RSVP to email@example.com and pay at the door. Non-reserved walk-ins that morning are $10.
