Ribbon Cutting at Church Mouse Nursery School

Join us for a ribbon cutting to mark a milestone for one of Ballston Spa’s most cherished places for children!  The Church Mouse Nursery School turned 50 years old and we’ll be celebrating with staff and students on Saturday, February 1 at 12 pm.

The Church Mouse is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Ballston Spa. The school was founded in 1969 by Marion Hyatt as a ministry to the children of our community. It has grown from 2 classes to 6 classes with an average total of 95 children. Offering  quality preschool education, all Church Mouse teachers hold teaching degrees and assistants are chosen for ability and experience with children.

“Our goal is to cultivate individual personalities while preparing children for the Kindergarten experience. We offer structured classes that are designed for both social and academic development and we emphasize Christian values, such as love, kindness, respect, honesty, self-control, thankfulness, patience, etc., throughout our program.”
