May 2020 Newsletter

It has been heartening to see the camaraderie and resilience of the Ballston Spa community during these past several weeks.  Even as we continue to face uncertainty as to how and when we can start to move toward a measured “re-opening”,  we remain optimistic that the time will come for us to be together again.

In this issue:

We are still moving forward with summer plans with the knowledge that flexibility of dates and circumstances will be taken into account. These activities go to the heart of our communal lives and bring joy to so many.   With your help, we strive to bring them to fruition.

Mother’s Day is May 10 and there are still plenty of opportunities to treat mom to something special from one of our shops or special yoga class, gift certificate to a salon or spa, or a great meal.  Check out what’s in store via online shopping, curbside takeout or delivery.  Love your mom and help your local businesses!

The BSBPA Marketing and Social Media Committee has been working to promote our members in creative ways.  Read about the latest initiatives, include Restaurant Bingo, here.

Additionally, a reminder to check back to the COVID Resource page on the website for updated information and links for support.

First Friday goes “Virtual” for May!

Plus lots of very informative Member News, Association News, and ways to help our neighbors.  And don’t miss the great gallery of rainbows!

The BSBPA will be making the determination soon as to what events will have to be curtailed due to prevailing restrictions. We need to abide by the guidelines set by the state and the village. Thanks for asking.
