On Saturday, September 19, members of the BSBPA board joined with Ballston Spa deputy mayor Noah Shaw, Ballston Spa Village Cemetery Association president Bill Curtis and members of his board to mark the addition of a new granite columbarium to the historic cemetery.
The 60 niche columbarium in the recently opened Section ‘G’ in the cemetery as a new interment option. A columbarium permanently houses cremation urns. Each niche is double depth which will house two urns. The columbarium is constructed entirely of Vermont granite in Barre, VT. The columbarium reflects the longevity, quality and history of the cemetery in which it resides.
