March 2021 Newsletter

This month marks a year since the COVID19 pandemic threw all our lives into turmoil of one kind or another.  It’s incredible to look back on the challenges, the losses–and the resilience that have brought us to this point. Here’s to all of you who have persevered and who continue to do so!

March is also the end of the BSBPA’s fiscal year, a time when we would normally gather at our Annual Meeting and Mixer to review the past year and look forward to the coming year.  Although we hope to be able to gather for a mixer later in the year to do this, for now we are saying our goodbyes (or more accurately “we’ll see you around!”) to those wonderful board members who are stepping down and a big hello and welcome to several new faces joining the board.  Read about them here.

Also in this issue: we are in the midst of planning our summer events–Concerts and Movies in the Park.  We were able to present these outdoor events towards the end of last summer even under strict COVID guidelines, so we know how to manage them.  With vaccine rollout sure to be well underway by mid summer, it is more likely that the conditions will be much improved for safe public gatherings.  In order to bring these free events to the public, sponsorship support is so important.  Find out how you can help support the return of the family entertainment to B Spa.

Plus, Farmers’ Market is picking up new vendors, COVID updates, Association and members news, community events and more.

Let the great melting begin!
