We’re wringing ourselves out after an unusually soggy July, but our spirits haven’t dampened as there is still a lot of summer left to enjoy!
In this issue: Rae Whitehead introduces us to some of the youngest entrepreneurs to be found at the Ballston Spa Farmers’ Market. Speaking of the market–Saturday morning’s market will be relocating back to Wiswall Park, starting August 7. We are excited to be back in the heart of town with the larger of our two markets, hours are still 9 am-1 pm. The cozy Thursday afternoon market (3-6 pm) will remain on the Brookside Museum lawn where it compliments the museum’s open hours and the nearby Thursday evening concerts in Iron Spring Park. Please do visit each of our markets–both have a great, friendly atmosphere and wonderful vendors offering the best fresh farm products, baked goods, flowers, spices, soaps, crafted goods and more. And you can meet our young market mavens!
We are pleased to announce that the 19th Annual “The Way We Were” Car Show is on for this fall! Read more about it. Plus SO MUCH to do–concerts, ice cream social, BBQs and family fun activities abound, and our Association and member news.
Summer days, summer nights–what could be better?
