The Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association’s Annual Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting takes place Friday, December 1, 2023. The parade step off time is 6:30 pm, proceeding down Milton Avenue from South Street to West High Street. Immediately after the parade, head to Wiswall Park on Front Street help Santa and Mrs. Claus lighting the Christmas tree.
Because of the increased cost of safety to run this parade, there will be a registration fee this year. BSBPA Members will be charged $10 and Non-BSBPA Members will be charged $20. There will be no fee for emergency services. Also new this year, the parade route will have crowd control barriers along the sidewalk to keep children off the streets. There will be absolutely no candy thrown — it may be handed out directly to the bystanders, or we won’t be able to offer a candy option in future holiday parades.
**Due to space limitations, all entries aside from emergency vehicles will be limited to one vehicle + one float/trailer per group. Emergency Services may bring 2.***
