Ballston Spa Organizations Involved in Ambulance Donation to Haiti

The Ballston Spa Rotary Club and Community Emergency Corps both played important roles in the donation of a decommissioned ambulance and other crucial medical supplies to a community in Haiti that was in desperate need. It was a long process to make it happen but ambulance and supplies finally made its way down the East coast to Florida, where it was to be shipped to the island nation.  Ray Otten of CEC and Ballston Spa Rotary shared the article below about the trip.  It is an uplifting story, which, in Ray’s words “show(s) just what this Village is all about.”  Special thanks to both the Rotarians and CEC for their service both here in our community and to those far away.
