July has come and gone and August is now upon us. Life moves quickly when you’re having fun, and that’s just what we’re doing in Ballston Spa this summer. We’ve had some gorgeous evenings for our Concerts in the Park and beautiful morings for our weekly Farmers’ Markets. The Ballston Spa Farmers’ Market vendors are set up in the park on Thursday afternoons from 3-6pm and on Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm. August is always my favorite month at the market because the produce vendors’ tables are always FULL of fresh fruit and veggies. Concerts in the Park are at Old Iron Spring every Thursday from 6-8pm. Our final Movie in the Park is Friday, August 5 in Wiswall Park. We will be showing the movie “Sing 2.” The movie starts around dusk (8:30-8:45) and friends from Starpoint Church will be on hand with free popcorn and cotton candy! Volunteers and the Village of Ballston Spa have been working hard to bring Family Fun Day back to the Village on Sunday, August 21 from 1-6pm. These events are planned with the intent of bringing foot traffic and visitors into our Village of Friends.
