2023 April BSBPA Newsletter

Spring has finally arrived in our town, and we couldn’t be more excited! The snow is melting, the birds are chirping, and the flowers are blooming. After a long and cold winter, it’s time to welcome the new season with open arms. Perhaps one of the most exciting things about spring in Ballston Spa is the blooming of the flowers. The vibrant colors of tulips, daffodils, and other spring flowers provide a stunning contrast to the dullness of winter and are a welcome sight to everyone in our town. We encourage you to take a stroll through our local gardens and enjoy the beauty of the spring flowers.

We’re also excited to report that the Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association (BSBPA) held a successful Annual Meeting at Next Door Kitchen and Bar on March 20. The event was well-attended, and members had the opportunity to network with other local business owners, share ideas, and discuss plans for the upcoming year. It’s great to see our local business community coming together and working towards a common goal.

In addition, we’re thrilled to announce that the BSBPA is planning a variety of exciting events for this summer. The Farmers Market will be back, offering fresh and locally grown produce and products to our community every Thursday starting in June. Concerts in the Park will also be returning, with live music performances every Thursday evening starting the last Thursday in June. Additionally, Movies in the Park will be held on the First Fridays throughout the summer months, providing a fun and free outdoor movie experience for families and friends.

Finally, with the arrival of spring comes the start of a new season for local businesses. Many of our town’s restaurants, shops, and attractions will be opening their doors to welcome fresh air, visitors and residents alike. This is the perfect time to explore what Ballston Spa has to offer and support our local businesses.
