Public Rezoning Workshop in Ballston Spa Scheduled for April 3, 2025

Fisher and Associates will present proposed changes to the zoning code at a final Rezoning Workshop for the Village of Ballston Spa Zoning Advisory Committee. The public meeting will be held on April 3, 2025 from 7-9 PM, at 50 West High Street, Ballston Spa, NY. The Auditorium is accessible and there is ample parking on site. The public is encouraged to attend, participate in the discussion and provide written comments.

The Zoning Advisory Committee (ZAC), a group of volunteers appointed by the Mayor and Village Trustees, has reviewed the current zoning code, discussed critical land use issues and identified zoning updates needed, as called for in the Village’s December 2022 Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan provides a vision and a set of goals to guide the Village in the next 10 years of its development. The Comprehensive Plan guides decisions affecting the physical development and redevelopment within the Village.
Fisher and Associates Project Manager Chris Kuschel will present a brief power point presentation on the proposed changes to the draft zoning code. The public will have time to ask questions and provide input to the proposed zoning code.

The proposed zoning code is expected to be available for the public’s review at the Village website ballstonspa.gov by March 17, 2025. Please review the proposed zoning code before the April 3rd Rezoning Workshop. Written comments from the public will be accepted until April 22, 2025.
