8th Annual 5K Revolutionary Run For Veterans

Birdhouse and Banner Flash Sale

There will be a flash sale of this year's birdhouses and banners on  Saturday, November 2, 10 am to 3 pm at the Ballston Spa Public Library.  Sale will be in the library parking lot or in the community room, in event of rain.  Birdhouses and banners are $10 each, first come, first serve.  Cash or check only.  All proceeds go to support library programs.

Chris Carola, a former reporter for The Associated Press in Albany, will tell the story of Jack Wilpers of Saratoga Springs, who was one of the U.S. Army intelligence officers credited with capturing ex-Japanese prime minister Hideki Tojo on Sept. 11, 1945, nine days after Japan surrendered to end World War II.
